Wool

Okay, I just evaluated that Woo. Of course, I only answered one question.

10. What improvements would you suggest to the teacher?

He should try to refrain from discouraging those headed for 2nd lower class honours and below. The way he talks is as if these people are doomed for life. One of my friends was so traumatised by his words that she went on to pass her fear to another junior, who is now very much convinced that she will never be able to get ahead in life if she gets anything below a 2nd upper class honours.

Results do not mean everything in life; I hope that as a teacher, he would try to pass on something other than academic knowledge. It is true that many employers prefer those with 2nd upper class honours, but instead of only focusing on the negative aspect of this fact of life, he should try to inspire us students to press on or, for those who are not able to move on to a better class of honours, he should offer alternatives. For instance, there are universities that allow students to do masters even if they get a degree lower than a 2nd upper class.

Hah. He'd probably get bitter about this next sem and repeat it over and over again to his students.
